Dear friends.

My name is Tzila Amihud.

Many years ago I picked up an advertisement from my mail box about a course for painting on wood. Until then I hadn't done any kind of art work, although I really wanted to.

My husband saw that my passion for art was mixed with fear and encouraged me to take the course: "what would you do if you weren't afraid?" He said. "Don't miss your chance to fulfill yourself!!!"

Luckily I took his advice and started the course with a lot of fears, thinking I would make a fool of myself. I said to my teacher: "If you think this course is not for me, please let me know...".

I finished the course successfully. It was amazing!!! I finally made my dream come true, and the art filled a part in me that was empty.

I started to paint on wood. You can see some of my works here. Three years later I took a course in silver crafting but painting on wood is still my favorite art.
